Luni, Lukis and I went to this wonderful fair at the Neighbourhood school. It’s wonderful because it was all done by parents raising money for the school. Luna got her face painted and her hand with a beautiful hena design from Lamia’s mother. I hope Luna goes here.

Archive for the Luna CategoryOk, she’s not britney spears just yet, but at 3 years of age could this be considered promising? Give it up for Luns! Just hanging out, watching tv and monkeying around… Luna is a great storyteller, but Lukas has yet to appreciate this. This happened before the world cup when we were camping in 1E waiting for apt construction to finish. I plead guilty for indoctrinating my daughter at a very early age but I am not remorseful. Anti-bush sentiment is very prevalent at home and in our community and we like it like that. Impeach Bush! We were just walking in the park and Luna surprised me with the D subject. She started explaining me how Leila’s father had died and that Salaam’s father is also gone. I tried to figure out where did she get this knowledge but I am still scratching my head. I think that at 3 it’s amazing that she can strike a conversation at this level.

Cuando estabamos en Berlin le compramos a Luna una bicicleta alemana tipica de madera sin ruedita ni pedales. La bici en NY es furor por que aqui no existen. Los que la ven siempre preguntan o miran con mucha curiosidad. Luni ya la domina muy bien y llega velocidades increibles. Ademas que levanta los pies con lo cual ya tiene el equilibrio necesario para pasarse a una bici con pedales en menos de 4 meses de uso!
